Basic Quranic principles for a healthy society

The Quran and Quranic principles are vital for a healthy society; by ignoring the Quranic principles, no society can develop spiritually or materially. Quranic principles are medicine for an unhealthy society. The world is in pain and it’s tackling lots of challenges; there are no ethics or values; the whole world is in search of peace, looking out for a doctor who can establish its falling health. The real doctor for these pains is only the Quran. The only solution to these problems is Islam. For improving the healthy situation of society, the Quran gives some important principles in Surah Hujurat. The first important principle is:
1) Obeying the leadership:
In the very first ayat of the surah Hujurat, it is mentioned that there should be a virtuous leadership, and the whole society should obey the leadership if the leadership is righteous. A society with no leadership is like a body with no soul; a society that does not have leadership cannot stand in front of oppressors. A society with virtuous leadership is the best society of its time.
And in between obeying the leader (rasool), one should never forget that Allah is everywhere, and one should never forget to be afraid of him in every situation.
2) Verification of the news:
Spreading fake and unverified news in society puts the community in trouble. Fake news makes a community unstable and suspicious, and there are many more drawbacks. So warning about the bad results of fake news and highlighting the drawbacks of it, Quean says: یا ایھا الذین آمنوا ان جاءکم فاسق بنبأ فتبینوا ان تصیبوا قوما بجہالۃ۔۔O believers, if an evildoer brings you any news, verify it so you do not harm people unknowingly, becoming regretful for what you have done.
3) Reconciliation among the people:
The Muslim community can’t afford clashes and chaos. A community that is involved in chaos and doesn’t have a system of reconciliation is more likely to collapse. Quraan says: And if two groups of believers fight each other, then make peace between them. (Reconcile among them.) But if one of them transgresses against the other, then fight against the transgressing group until they are willing to submit to the rule of Allah. If they do so, then make peace between both groups in all fairness and act justly. Surely Allah loves those who uphold justice. So warning the whole community, it is said that if two groups of Muslims get stuck in chaos, others are directed to reconcile among them with equity, and they should never forget the principle of equality because all Muslims are brothers, and brothers are not allowed to talk to one another for up to 3 days (Hadith).Quraan says:إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌۭ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَThe believers are brothers, so make peace between your brothers. And be mindful of Allah, so you may be shown mercy.
4. Never ridicule:
Another problem that may disturb peace in a society is laughing at someone and degrading the members of that society. The Quran strictly orders both genders:
O believers! Do not let some men ridicule others; they may be better than them; nor let some women ridicule other women; they may be better than them. Do not defame one another or call each other offensive nicknames. How evil it is to act rebelliously after having faith! And whoever does not repent, it is they who are the true wrongdoers. In the above ayat, addressing both genders separately shows the seriousness of the matter.
5) Don’t use offensive nicknames:
Again, pointing out another reason for the chaos in society is the offensive nicknaming of community members to protect the society from this evil allah’s orders, which not only give orders but also tell how bad this act is. Do not defame one another or call each other offensive nicknames. How evil it is to act rebelliously after having faith! And whoever does not repent, it is they who are the true wrongdoers.6) Never spy; don’t be curious. The curiosity about someone and the spying of a person may lead to misunderstanding, and misunderstanding may lead to quarrel, and in fact, many times it has been observed that behind most of the quarrel the reason is just misunderstanding, grown up because of the unnecessary curiosity about others, so pointing out this bad practice and warning about the results of it The Quran says: یا ایھا الذین آمنوا اجتنبوا کثیرا من الظن ان بعض الظن اثم .”O  believers! Avoid many suspicions, for indeed, some suspicions are sinful.”
7) Avoiding backbiting:
A very important principle for the maintenance of peace and harmony in society is avoiding backbiting. The Quraan says it’s crucial for a healthy society to be far away from this bad backbiting habit, and the seriousness of this sin is expressed in these words:وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا۟ وَلَا يَغْتَب بَّعْضُكُم بَعْضًا ۚ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًۭا فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابٌۭ رَّحِيمٌ۔And do not spy on or backbite one another. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of your dead brother? You would despise that! 1 And fear Allah. Surely Allah is the Accepter of Repentance, Most Merciful. So backbiting is as bad as eating one’s own dead brother’s flesh. That is such a bad practice.
8) Taqwa (fear of Allah):
After the narration of these golden principles, Allah says:یا ایھا الناس انا خلقناکم من ذکر و انثی و جعلناکم شعوبا و قبائل لتعارفوا ان اکرمکم عند الله اتقاکم”O humanity! Indeed, we created you from a male and a female and made you into people and tribes so that you might get to know one another. Surely the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous among you. Allah is truly all-knowing and all-aware.”
These principles couldn’t be beneficial unless the fear of Allah and a strong sense of connection were present. So awakening the connection consciousness and feeling Allah say you all are from one male and one female, your parents are one. There is no superiority or inferiority in the sight of Allah, but only on the Papamerte of fear of Allah, how much a person fears Allah in public and private. These are the golden principles, and if a society practices them, that society will be the most virtuous, healthy, and stable society on the planet.
